Applications have begun being accepted for membership of the industry’s newest freight group, Globalia Freight Network, which has the Middle East as one of its key air/sea freight hubs worldwide.
The Globalia Logistics Network will be accepting applications from agents in the Middle East and the rest of the world, it said in a release.
Globalia is born out of the Conqueror Freight Network founded by Antonio Torres 7 years ago. “Conqueror is the only network to offer exclusivity per city, audit all applicants and only accept those given the green light by an external auditor,” explained Torres.
“Because of the unique nature of Conqueror, the amount of interest in membership is still unprecedented and in truth, there is simply not enough room to accommodate every qualifying company, so, I felt it was right to give more agents the opportunity to enjoy the same benefits through a new network,” he added.
“Some might say that what we are launching is not new, and they would be right. We are offering the same opportunities as Conqueror but for a new group of first class companies, allowing them to work with the same calibre of agents as themselves worldwide,” said Torres.
“With the multinationals taking more and more of their business daily, independent forwarders find themselves in a cooperate or die situation which rogue network operators are exploiting,” he added. “In the last decade, the majority of the emerging networks have only been interested in one thing; collecting a membership fee. None offer the rigorous selection process we do, none offer the financial security we do and none offer the daily support and amount of quality complimentary marketing tools we do.”
Applicants for Globalia Freight Network will undergo a tough selection process including external auditing and those 1/10 applicants accepted will enjoy the first six months free. “This will be a trial -period for both parties,” explains Torres, “thus ensuring that every member is bringing business to the network and adding value to the brand.”
